Flare Enough 0.1.3
Flare Enough is a free, open source Android app for tracking medication, logging symptoms, and a bit of quiet when you need it. It is built for people living with chronic illness, with the bad days in mind: sore hands, fatigue, brain fog, and anxiety.
The name is a pun on flares and "fair enough". Dry, and a little defiant.
What it does:
Medication reminders that actually fire on time, including when your phone is idle, after a reboot, and across the clock changes.
Symptom tracking you can shape yourself, a flare flag for the day, and a body map to note where it hurts, marking areas as sore, painful, or swollen.
A calendar history to look back on, and now to edit too, for when you forget to log something or log it wrong.
A quiet corner with a timer, gentle breathing, and a soft bell.
What it promises:
- No internet permission at all. It works fully offline, and your data stays on your device.
- No ads, no subscriptions, no accounts, no trackers.
- You stay in control of your own data: back up and export everything yourself as a full backup, a CSV, or a plain PDF, and lock the app behind your phone's own unlock if you want to.
New in 0.1.3:
- Go back and edit any past day in History: the doses you took, your symptoms, joints, and notes.
- Back up all your data to one file, and restore it later. Everything stays on your device.
- Export your log as a CSV spreadsheet, or a plain PDF report to keep or show someone. A record only, with no interpretation.
- An optional app lock, using your phone's own unlock: fingerprint, face, PIN, or pattern.
- A new Painful option on the body map, alongside Sore and Swollen.
It records and reminds only. It is not medical advice. And it is free, and stays free.
